Introduction
Welcome to your final assignment for the course - your Final Paper! Never fear! Just like your quizzes, this paper is open book and open notes, as long as materials are printed and pre-prepared. These notes may even include web diagrams or bullet point outlines for what you plan to write, but must contain 10% or less of your final product. The paper MUST be completed via Honorlock.
Instructions
BEFORE your begin your essay, SUBMIT YOUR SOURCES TO THE ASSIGNMENT TITLED "Final Paper - Sources". Failure to do so will result in your final paper being assigned a 0!!!
Your essay should be a minimum of 1,000 words according to this format:
- Introduction - name the topic that you will be describing and why you chose it.
- Course Information - describe that topic in depth. This may include outside resources as long as they are cited, but the bulk of the information can come straight from the course.
- New Information - desribe ONE application or new related topic using outside, reputable sources. This should be a topic that we did NOT discuss in depth in the course. Make sure to clearly demonstrate how/why this topics connects to topics learned in the course.
- Conclusion - summarize how the information in this course has helped you to better understand this new topic, and why this is relevant to your every day life.
You will have 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete this essay, but for many it will take far less time.
Academic Integrity Note
In order to ensure that the writing is your own work, you cannot prepare the entire essay ahead of time. You can only prepare notes and sources that align with 10% or less of your final paper. These must be submitted before you complete the essay, and they must be shown to the screen during your room scan. If you reference anything not provided in your Final Paper - Sources assignment and your room scan, you will be assigned a 0 for this assignment. No electronic devices are allowed.
